Modbus is widely used to connect supervisory computers with remote terminal units (RTUs) in SCADA systems. A single Modbus network can support communication with up to approximately 247 wired devices, enabling the IOT Plus Serial MODBUS Gateway to deliver virtually unlimited wireless expansion on top of traditional wired networks.
